Community House of Moorestown | 100th Anniversary Campaign

Project Overview

As the Community House of Moorestown approached its 100th anniversary, planning began in early 2025 to develop a campaign that felt meaningful, authentic, and true to its mission. For Idea Lab Digital, the work aligned with a milestone of our own — as we prepare to celebrate 30 years in business in 2026.

Through a series of collaborative ideation meetings and conversations with the Community House leadership team, the focus remained clear: celebrate a century of impact without overcomplicating the message. During one pivotal discussion, a simple but powerful idea emerged — the most effective way to honor 100 years was to create space for many stories. From that moment, the campaign concept “100 Years of…” was born.

The Approach

Rather than anchoring the anniversary to a single message, we developed a flexible storytelling framework. “100 Years of…” became the connective thread — adaptable across platforms, events, and messages — allowing the Community House to celebrate its people, programs, history, and future throughout the year. Built through open communication and close collaboration, the campaign ensured every element felt cohesive, intentional, and aligned with the organization’s mission.

Featured Event: "Big 100 Birthday Bash"

As part of the broader campaign, we also branded and designed the Community House’s signature anniversary event — the “Big 100 Birthday Bash.” For this centerpiece celebration, the team took a research-driven approach rooted in the organization’s origins.

Inspired by the Art Deco era in which the Community House was founded, the event branding incorporated period-appropriate typefaces and design cues. Historic architectural details and original furnishings were photographed and paired with imagery that reflects the organization’s legacy — including a nod to Nipper, the iconic RCA Victor dog, honoring Eldridge Johnson’s role in helping fund the building’s original construction.

The Result

Together, the anniversary campaign and event branding gave The Community House of Moorestown a clear, flexible way to honor its past while celebrating what’s ahead — demonstrating how simplicity, collaboration, and thoughtful storytelling can carry even the biggest milestones.
