Jay Winkler

Jay has over 30 years of success in the advertising industry following his BFA in Communication Design from Kutztown University. He got his start as a production manager for a grand format graphics company in Florida, working hard in between surf sessions. He truly kickstarted his career, however, when he moved to Manhattan and worked his way up to director of creative services at King Graphic Technologies, scraping elbows with and learning from some of New York City’s best talent. All the while, he still found time to ride the A Train from the West Village to surf Rockaway Beach. Eventually Jay moved to South Jersey to start a family and help grow Idea Lab into the small yet mighty agency it is today. Here Jay guides our overall vision and strategic direction, focusing on everything from business development and operations to creative direction.

When Jay isn’t elevating brands and fueling creativity, you can catch him with his family, still surfing, snowboarding, and relishing the glory days of the post-punk era.

Graphic/Web Designer

Riley Osterlind

Riley joined Idea Lab in 2024 with a background in graphic design, event publicity, and social media. Her work consists of balanced compositions through innovative approaches and human-centered design, which she applies to both web and graphic design projects.

She graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2022 with a BA in Criminology and a minor in Graphic Design. Riley has worked in a variety of industries including fine art, public safety, and furniture. Her focuses include UX/UI design, typography, and illustration.

When Riley isn’t searching for new typefaces, you’ll probably find her at Panera, sewing a new dress, or rewatching Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade for the millionth time.

Web Developer & Designer

Bryan Ceccarelli

Bryan is an expert Web Developer with 10+ years in the industry. He’s helped pave the way for meaningful web experiences and solutions here at the Lab. He has extensive knowledge of multiple web-based programming languages but his know-how doesn’t stop there: Having graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Film, Bryan has mastered many creative fields including Photography, Video & Editing, Motion Graphics, User Experience Design, and Graphic Design.

When Bryan isn’t juggling creative hats here at Idea Lab, he’s likely watching the Eagles game or enjoying a beach day with the family.

Digital Account Manager

Maxwell Reil

Maxwell joined Idea Lab with a background in digital marketing, social media, copywriting and video. Max is the first point of contact for all of Idea Lab Digital’s clients, and is responsible for developing and managing their digital and web presence over multiple platforms. Max’s focuses include social media management, Google AdWords, optimization and reporting.

After graduating Temple University in 2014 with a BA in Journalism, Max began his career as a news reporter and digital producer for a South Jersey publication. He’s since worked in digital marketing for both the legal and construction industries.

When Max isn’t optimizing your Google campaigns or creating reports for your business, you can find him at a local concert, playing the guitar, or flipping through the clearance bins at a nearby record store.

Graphic Designer

Karyn Brancard

Karyn joined Idea Lab in 2024 with a passion for bringing ideas to life through motion design and dynamic visuals. She earned her BFA in Visual Communication Design from Montclair State University and holds an associate’s degree in computer graphic art from Salem Community College.

Karyn specializes in creating engaging video animations and Instagram Reels, blending creativity with technical expertise to elevate digital campaigns. Her work includes brand development through motion graphics, social ad design, animated GIF creation, and email campaigns making her a versatile designer who thrives on creating impactful, memorable content.

When she’s not crafting seamless animations, you’ll find Karyn crocheting new creations, rewatching her favorite movies, or indulging in a sweet treat–sometimes all at once.

Social & Digital Account Coordinator

Ella Miller

Ella joined Idea Lab with a strong background in social media, advertising, and digital media trends and analytics. She helps create engaging social media content and works closely with our account manager to develop strategies that best support our clients and their goals.

Ella is beginning her professional career after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Penn State University. During her time at Penn State, she completed several internships in communications, photography, marketing, and social media, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of industries.

When Ella isn’t creating content or keeping up with the latest social media trends to help businesses grow, you’ll most likely find her curled up with her Kindle, spending time on the golf course, or baking sourdough bread.
