Jay Winkler

Jay has over 25 years of success in the advertising industry following his BFA in Communication Design from Kutztown University. He got his start as a production manager for a grand format graphics company in Florida, working hard in between surf sessions. He truly kickstarted his career, however, when he moved to Manhattan and worked his way up to director of creative services at King Graphic Technologies, scraping elbows with and learning from some of New York City’s best talent. All the while, he still found time to ride the A Train from the West Village to surf Rockaway Beach and keep his sanity. Eventually Jay moved to South Jersey to start a family and help grow Idea Lab into the small yet mighty agency it is today. Here Jay guides our overall vision and strategic direction, focusing on everything from business development and operations to creative direction.

When Jay isn’t elevating brands and fueling creativity, you can catch him with his family, still surfing, snowboarding, and relishing the glory days of the post-punk era.

Art Director

Jessica Baskin

Jess joined Idea Lab’s team in 2011 and hasn’t looked back since. After earning her BA in Graphic Design from Moravian College, Jess offers 10+ years of experience in the industry, generating award-winning creative at agencies both large and small. Jessica is passionate and precise and never lets a project leave her desk until it’s juuust right. From brand identities and custom illustrations to user interfaces, she enjoys working with our clients to individually meet their unique goals on a variety of print and digital projects.

If you can’t find Jess snacking on dark chocolate at her desk while sitting on an exercise ball, you might find her dancing, hand-lettering her own greeting cards, and enjoying time with her family.

Web Developer & Designer

Bryan Ceccarelli

Bryan is an expert Web Developer with 10+ years in the industry. He’s helped pave the way for meaningful web experiences and solutions here at the Lab. He has extensive knowledge of multiple web-based programming languages but his know-how doesn’t stop there: Having graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Film, Bryan has mastered many creative fields including Photography, Video & Editing, Motion Graphics, User Experience Design, and Graphic Design.

When Bryan isn’t juggling creative hats here at Idea Lab, he’s likely watching the Eagles game or enjoying a beach day with the family.

Digital Account Manager

Maxwell Reil

Maxwell joined Idea Lab with a background in digital marketing, social media, copywriting and video. Max is the first point of contact for all of Idea Lab Digital’s clients, and is responsible for developing and managing their digital and web presence over multiple platforms. Max’s focuses include social media management, Google AdWords, optimization and reporting.

After graduating Temple University in 2014 with a BA in Journalism, Max began his career as a news reporter and digital producer for a South Jersey publication. He’s since worked in digital marketing for both the legal and construction industries.

When Max isn’t optimizing your Google campaigns or creating reports for your business, you can find him at a local concert, playing the guitar, or flipping through the clearance bins at a nearby record store.

Graphic Designer

Jess Underwood

Jess joined Idea Lab in 2023 after earning her BFA in Visual Communications from the University of Delaware. She is excited to bring new perspective to anything she works on. Jess is a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for creating engaging, thoughtful, and impactful design solutions.

With a past in freelancing, Jess has worked with clients across a variety of industries, including food and beverage, fashion, real estate, and music. Whatever the creative challenge, she’s ready to think outside the box and deliver the content you need to help your business thrive. Jess offers a full array of creative services to best suit your project from graphic design, social media, and branding, to video and animation.

If you can’t find Jess meticulously timing out video animations, you’ll probably find her playing a cozy video game, journaling, or photoshopping members of her family into classical paintings.

Junior Account Coordinator

Emma Frese

Emma joined IdeaLab’s team in early 2023 and is the intern who never left. Studying at Rowan University, Emma is earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She benefits from having a creative outlook and she is driven to meet our client's needs.

With a past in video editing, Emma has earned a handful of awards for her skills. In 2018, she earned her award for creative use of audio in the KYW News Studies Program at Temple University. She has also earned the Rancocas Valley High School Golden Devil Award for best news introduction video. Considering her passion for video editing, this has easily translated into the digital marketing world with a desire to create and provide real results when it comes to a client’s digital and web presence.
